- Step 1. Download Free MKV Converter, and install.
- Step 2. Launch the MKV converter freeware (mkvmerge GUI) after successfully installation, and click
button to load video file. 
- Step 3. Highlight the MOV file you chose and click
button just as screenshot below.
- Step 4. Select the destination folder you want the output file saved to with
pressed. - Step 5. Click
button to start converting MOV to MKV. And the converting process will be visible like this:
